[1000mp] Mark V Repair - Continues - with a twist

Well, my warranty repair continues with a twist. 

The problem was that the main receiver was just plain
dead, transmitter dead as well.  Sub rcvr was
functional on some bands.

Radio was recevied at Yaesu 7/12.  It was assigned to
a tech 7/15 (Andy Ormonde).  Radio was finally looked
at 7/24.

I just spoke to customer service and they read the
tech notes that were in the computer on the radio...I
had them read it twice just to be sure I heard the
correctly.

Note states: "Customer's filters removed from radio. 
Need to be installed in NEW radio.  Sales has been
contacted."

So, I asked the CSR....."Does this mean that I get a
new Mark V?"  Steven says "Yes".

He had no notes on a return time, but this is quite a
twist from what I expected.

So, I guess I'll see sometime in the near future (I
hope) what radio I do have.

I'll keep the list posted.
