[1000mp] 1000MP and PSK31 HOW ????

I was just pointing out the need to deal with the microphone in the
suggested configuration, which was not clear from K3GV'sm response. I use a
RigBlaster to achieve that isolation.

Particularly on RTTY, I also combine the Main and Sub audio from the MP's AF
Out jack before driving my RTTY modem, in order to copy both the DX and the
pileup in split (dual) mode, as one would do in SSB or CW by ear. When not
in a split pileup, since the AF outs are full on, independent of the MP
fader control, I exit dual receive mode.

t first, I merely tied the two audio signals together with a wye, but that
creates distortion and crosstalk--the MP AF Outs are emitter followers with
no series resistors. So it is necessary to combine through resistors at a
cost of 6 dB. At present, I get around that by combining the second pair of
soundcard speaker outputs my card (SB Live! Value) provides, which then
drive the RTTY modem, but then that enhancement is not available for PSK.
