Dear Mac,

  You would be wise to use #12 power cord for your amplifier if you are going to
use 20A fuses. There would be less voltage drop and it would be safer.  #14 is
rated for 15A.  Fuses don't blow at their rated value; they blow at around 2x
this because they are meant to carry the rated current indefinitely.
