Brian's observations re: power may be OK for some or even most ops,
but they don't make a lot of sense if you're driving an amp - or ever
want to.
My Henry 3KA took only 100 watts drive as I recall. My 30L1 requires
no more than 100W fpr 600 watts out, and the Alpha - - - one-half of
that - or 50 watts for legal maximum 1500 Watts.
