[1000mp] MP/MV second RX Filter experiences

Dear OM's ,

as a new Mark-V owner I learned a lot about filters from you. Most of the
mails where related to the main RX.
My question is: What is your experience with narrow (500Hz) filter in the
sub RX? Does it make sense?
The background: The Mark-V don't have the stock 500hz filter for 3rd IF
455khz, but it is in the 2nd IF 8.2 MHz.
So it makes no sense to replace it and move it to the sub rx, you have to
buy an additional filter.

Do you see any real advantage to have a 500Hz sub RX filter, maybe it helps
do dig the calling station from a pileup?
