[Yaesu] Fw: Yaesu FT990

My FT 990 is giving me grief, after a/c power main fluctuation (snow storm).

Receiver works great, but PA/ATU seems not to work. No indication of problem until after 115v main power fluctuation.

 

Here is what is happening:

     1. while trying to tune up on 21mhz, with rf power set at near minimum, as usually done, I attempted to activate atu.

     2. when "tune" button pressed, both the red xmit light and the amber wait light would illuminate, for about 5 seconds, then go out, which seems longer than usual.

     3. there was no needle movement on the meter. I did not hear the atu working to find a  match.

     4. when keying xmitter, either with hand key, or mic, the meter needle would go to zero, when needle selector in power output position (PO). When IC position

         selected, the final amplifier collector current read O (zero), and when Vcc position selected, the final amplifier collector voltage read 105 volts.

 

Is there a way to re-boot the system?

Any suggestions?
