...Mike, you're not the only one. I had asked them via that form for some
info regarding the FT-736 CPU and didn't get a response either. I figured it
was because the rig I wanted info for was OOP and they just ignored me. I
would think that a good way to maintain customer support would be to have a
working email system...
As far as your other question - I don't own one of those HT's so I cannot
help you, other than maybe resetting the radio after you backup the existing
settings if you can. If everything seems to work after the reset, you
might've changed something before and not realized what you did. Might be
the easiest thing to do. Good luck...

On a number of occasions, I've left an email on the Yaesu.com site (it's a
form, rather than an email address). The questions have ranged across a
few topics - but generally about things that have come up with products
I've purchased within the past six months (VX-8DR, FTdx5000MP, and Quadra
System).
