[Yaesu] Yaesu technical support - Does it exist?

On a number of occasions, I've left an email on the Yaesu.com site (it's a
form, rather than an email address).  The questions have ranged across a
few topics - but generally about things that have come up with products
I've purchased within the past six months (VX-8DR, FTdx5000MP, and Quadra
System).

All-in-all, that'a a BIG investment made in Yaesu products... no response
to support questions?

Well, I managed to contact some folks directly at Yaesu.  They've been very
helpful.  But I don't want to continue to take advantage of these folks and
would rather go through the process than to go around the process.

*Presently - I'm having a problem with the new VX-8DR.  If anyone has any
ideas... please chip in.*

For the first few months of using the VX-8DR, it would send and receive
APRS beacons just fine.  (I have the Yaesu GPS.)

However... it has not sent or received a GPS beacon for months now.  I'm
presently driving seven hours through some densely populated areas and (a)
nothing sent... (b) nothing received.

Yes, in menu item 79: Save RX is OFF.
