[Yaesu] Looking for speaker/mic

:  Well, if you browse the bay place, with "Yaesu FT-60", and disregard the
: 100-odd battery offers, you'll find a variety of microphones and 
earphones.
: I've seen the gamut from hand-held speaker/mikes, to in-the-ear and PTT
: on the lapel, to throat mikes, I've seen one skull-type (think fireman), 
and
: some clandestine types (rubber ear insert, mike on the cuff and PTT in
: the hand.  You look, it's out there.

I've checked the bay a few times, searched for ft-60 microphone, which 
narrows it down to about 12 items.  I bought one each of each type of throat 
mic, they were flimsy crap, poorly designed, more like a WalMart toy with 
some electronics stuffed into them as an afterthought, good for parts 
though.  I'm considering getting one each of the ear-mic and boom mic from 
MFJ, numbers 283 and 293 I think, maybe 282, 292, my notes aren't handy.  I 
saw some where the mic and PTT were together both on the lapel and down the 
sleave, not sure this is practical in higher noise areas.
