[Yaesu] Re Speech processor's

Hi Ron:
            Happy New Year from se BC.  The stock MD-1 Yaesu desk microphone 
is also a great microphone. However, the Shure 444D dynamic mic does 
accentuate the audio just above 2.2 khz which gives it better talk power 
which is better for communications audio. I wouldn't waste my money to run 
out an buy a heil mic as there is nothing to gain with those. Even the heil 
781 has an audio response made more for a broadcast studio which is not what 
we need for good communications audio on the ham bands. Just my 2 cents 
worth from Fern   VE7GZ
