I constantly read recommendations for MICs for Yaesu transceivers that never mention Yaesu MICs.
Why is this, what is wrong with Yaesu MICs?
My MD-1 has a counter wound coil around the capsule that cancels out magnetically induced Voltages
generated in the capsule, does a Shure 444D have that? The MD-1 also has a fast/slow and frequency
rise and lower buttons does a Shure 444D have those?
The ONLY reports that I ever got (in rag chews) with the MD-1 was "you sound great." I always
use lots of compression with my FT-990.
   Where's the beef?
