Mike - Can't answer about the 726, but years ago I found several NOS
Yeasu filters for several of their older rigs. As many of the filters
between models either are the same or almost maybe one would be worth a
try for you.
Have two models left. An XF-8.2 which is a 8.2 mhz IF 8 pole 600 hz,
and a XF-455C an 455 khz second IF and 8 pole 500 hz.
Also have several 8.9 mhz units, but at wider bandwidths.
Photos are available.
Asking $40 each which includes postage.
Good luck,

Not finding one, and 6 meter DX picking up I went ahead and ordered an Inrad 600 hz. filter. I don't think I have ever heard such ringing in any filter I've had in the past. An Icom filter comes close, but this is so bad I really don't want to use it. Does any one in the group have some personal experience with the 726 or narrow Yaesu filters to offer a comment or suggestion? Thanks. 73
