[Yaesu] CW filter FT 726R

Ever since picking up a FT 726R a few years ago at Dayton, I've been watching for a used 600hz. xtal filter to come along.  Not finding one, and 6 meter DX picking up I went ahead and ordered an Inrad 600 hz. filter.  I don't think I have ever heard such ringing in any filter I've had in the past.  An Icom filter comes close, but this is so bad I really don't want to use it.  Does any one in the group have some personal experience with the 726 or narrow Yaesu filters to offer a comment or suggestion?  Thanks.  73
