[Yaesu] Wanted: Review(s) of VX-1700 HF Xceiver

I'm interested in the Vertex VX-1700 as, on  paper, it appears to meet some 
of my specific operational needs.  Anyone  have any first-hand knowledge 
concerning this rig?
