[Yaesu] Info Yaesu FTV1000

Hello group!
I need to help a friend at the distance but I don't possess the Yaesu FTV-1000.  
I wanted to know like I have to set-configure the transversor, to "On air"  in the frequency of 51.500MHz. and that the display of the Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V, indicate the exact frequency of 50Mhz. and not that of 28/29Mhz.  
To go in 50.110MHz. the rig indicates the frequency of 28.110MHz.  
But if I place it in 29.500MHz. the same one doesn't come out in the 51.500MHz.  
As it is made? I have the manual of the FTV-1000, in my hands.
