Hello John all on Yaesu reflector
The TS-930SAT was the first rig that had a built or build in tuner it
was a option. The FT-767GX was the first radio to make this feature
Standard Equipment not extra cost option and for Yaesu. For John that
inquired about the FT-767GX how it was or in my tense is a Great radio
that's a fully loaded HF radio with build in 6, 2 and 70cm V/Uhf
transverters. On hf it seems to work really great nice quiet receiver
for its day. It is a overlooked Yaesu Classic I just obtained a well
cared for FT-767GX last Saturday I tell you it is a great radio for
being 20 years old. Mine has the 2 meter transverter and I christened it
on the ARRL V/Uhf contest listening for and giving points on 2 SSB.
Having IC-751A's also in the shack I have another great radios to
compare this one with very comparable. Both classics introduced in '86.
I hope that helps John
