[Yaesu] Color display mods or tricks - FT-897D?

Has anyone made any mods or improvements to the color display menu in the
FT897D?

I would like to be able to make the following changes, beyond what the menu
allows:

1.	Re-define the band edges, and change the color for each of those bands to
what I want.
2.	Change the colors for the modes to other than what is allowed by the 2
menu choices.
3.	Be able to assign a color of my choice to a group of memories, and more
than 20 memories if I need it.

Picky, huh? :)
