[Yaesu] Help with FT-847

Hi, I have an 847 that all of a sudden started having some problems. Before 
I send it in, I was hoping someone cold help me out on what's going on.

It was not transmitting on 50,144 or 430. The TX light would go on, but no 
output at all, no matter mode, power setting, mix setting,or putting it in 
FM, or AM and hitting the MOX button. On 1.8 thru 28Mhz, it will have out 
put, but it jumps around erratically in an mode. Goes from 100W to 20 and 
back up again then down etc... SWR is fine on all bands. I did a full reset 
twice. Nothing. Changed Mics.

Then for whatever reason, I tapped the sides hard with my hands, and it 
started working again. Currently it is still working. Any ideas?
