[Yaesu] Problems with FT1000MP Mk-V

Weeeell !!! a look at the back panel reveals the memory back up switch 
which in the off position disables the function. I would of course  
learned about this had I bothered to read the manual first. Just my own 
silliness not doing so I guess.
