Bob -- You are correct! and very helpful... After changing the remote
switch, the amp started normally. The Quadra is working normally now.
I would appreciate more info on the resistor you replaced and the capacitor
you added. If it fails again, perhaps I can make the repair myself. Does
it require much disassembly to reach the resistor. Disassembling the thing
always seems to be the hardest part.
