My FTdx9000D cost $83 to ship to Yaesu from Houston and this included
$12,000 insurance. Why did your shipping cost so much?

Can someone help me with the Yaesu repair facility? Who is the manager I
should speak with about getting my Quadra amplifier repaired.

I shipped my Quarda amplifier and power supply to Yaesu after it failed to
turn on. It gave no failure symptoms before failing to turn on. I am the
original owner and it has never failed before.

Yaesu replaced one $0.93 resistor and charged me $245 labor. I paid $274.13
for shipping out and back, for a total repair bill of $520.06.

When it arrived back the amplifier did not work. The Quadra will turn on,
but will not pass the self test. The failure message is #1005 Excessive PA
DC Voltage.

Yaesu charged me $70 (one hour) to check out the amplifier and power supply
together before shipping them back to me.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bert, N8NN
