[Yaesu] FT-101ZD + Microwave Modules transverter ??

Thanks for your reply.

The unit may be a bit old technology by now, but this particular one
may not have had much use. I have heard it tested on air, it sounds very
good.
Since I do not have a back-up on UHF SSB, it is indeed very tempting.

My FT-101ZD unfortunately has the AM option, instead of FM.
It does have a low level RF out jack, 3V RMS@??Zo, also, there is a 
receive antenna jack. Not knowing these two impedances, is the 
transverter, apparently 50 ohm ports, going to behave itself ?
The original attenuator is available.
Is it necessary to fit a dummy load to the standard antenna port ?
Would it be enough to monitor the transverter output ?
Tuning of HF ? For best receive ?
As you see, I do not have a lot of info available.
