[Yaesu] ft-980 questions

     While reading the operations manual for the 980 ,it tells you that 
the digital readout can be made to show directly, 6 or 2 meter 
frequency.... but they fail to mention how you get the rig to show the 
higher readouts, if you running a transverter.
     My second question is were any of the various transverters that 
yaesu made ever suggested or recomended for the ft-980?
this has to be the most un documented rig yaesu ever made,other than op 
and service manuals and a few mods on dk,can't find hardly anything.... 
any suggestions ...would be greatful.
