[Yaesu] Need info on FTS-7

Greetings, everyone.

I'm looking into making a replacement tone board for the
commonly used FTS-7 and FTS-17A. I've got a service
manual for my FT-2500m, and it lists the parts on the -17A,
but I don't have a radio like the Yaesu FT736R which uses
the -7.

Does anyone have a service manual for it and would they
be willing to copy/scan the pages that describe the tone
board? The bits of info I'm looking for are--what chip
does the tone board use, what signal level does it see,
what is the pinout of the module, what kind of connector
it uses, and mechanically, what's it like?

If anyone can help provide this, I would be quite grateful.

Is there much interest in an inexpensive (~$25) replacement
for the FTS-7 and FTS-17A? What other tone boards are
'popular'?

Thanks for your help, everyone.

Cheers,
David n0ymv
