[Yaesu] Pin Diode Replacement in FT1000

Ok, here goes.

Don´t understand why there would be controversy about
this, there is a well known fact that the FT-1000D has
poor IMD2 performance.
This is also coverd in Yaesu technical bulletin TB-93201
dated 8 Feb 1993.

Yaesu did replace D1005, D1006 with DIN60-4070

D1007,1012, 1014,1016, 1018, 1020, 1022, 1024, 1026
1028,1030, 1032, 1034, 1036, 1038 and 1064 with 1SV157

Since I didn´t have those diodes I replaced ALL with
BF379. Result was perfect. Now good second order IMD
performance.
There are also other PIN diodes that can be used for
this application, forexample BF479. Also BA595, BA885
and BA895 can be used but they are SMD´s and might
be tricy to use in that application.

73 good luck / Jim SM2EKM
