It tells you in the manual.  The more you transmit, the less overall time
you will have.  It is not a base station radio or made for long ragchews.
You should be able to listen to your favorite FM BC station for the better
part of a day on a full charge.  You shut the lights off and use an ear
phone to help maximize battery life also.
