[Yaesu] FT-690R II BNC Antenna

Hello group - 
I just got a yaesu FT-690R II rig, but didn't get the BNC Antenna for it - they didn't have it - and I'm in need of one - or some ideas for a replacement -- 
I have an Icom tri-band radio, and did wonder if I could buy an adaptor (SMC to BNC) and use that antenna on it - but it is very small and I wasn't sure how well it would work. 
Anyone with some ideas - or an antenna please let me know - thanks -
