[Yaesu] SRF 7043 for FT-100

I have a FT-100 that needs the VHF/UHF output mosfet replaced. The 
factory installed SRF 7043 is no longer available from Yaesu parts 
according to the gentleman I spoke to there today. I most likely would 
not have purchased it from them as the last price they had on it was 
$246.90 before it was discontinued. Anyone know of an alternate source 
for this transistor or a suitable replacement? I hear that the MRF166W 
will work but it is only a 40 watt device. I found it at Richardson for 
$83.64 and most likely will go with it unless I find a 50 watt device at 
a comparable price. I can't believe that Yaesu has discontinued the part 
on such a "new" radio.
