Lately the strobe on my VX7R never turns off. The only way to turn it off is 
to remove the battery. Sometimes after removing and re-inserting the battery 
it will stay off for a short time but it always comes back on (blue) and the 
intensity varies. Moving the unit around various RF sources such as computer 
monitors, florescent lights, etc will change the brightness of the strobe as 
well. I have 2 different battery packs and changing them does not make a 
difference. Anyone having or had a similar experience. Does not seem to 
affect the operation of the radio. Thanks, Dave.
