[Yaesu] Another FT857 mystery

I started looking at the FT-100D right around when the 857 was coming out.
So I waited--maybe the 100D would go on closeout. Stopped thinking of it for
a while--keep my trailing edge stuff going a while longer. Looking again.
The 100D is now on closeout, but at $150 more than the 857. I cannot
understand. OK, CW filter and wide range rcvr, but that does not seem like a
$150 difference. Any ideas? --Mike, WV2ZOW
