[Yaesu] changes in rigs when CW dropped?

The trend in "consumer" electronics is to go to the small Motorola or Pic
controllers and the "sealed box" method. But there are exceptions. Apple
has done this, but with the Wintel platform, there is such a tradition of
people building their own computers from parts, overclocking, etc, that M$
and Intel will never be able to do that.

I suspect that the "experimental" nature of Amateur Radio will keep it much
the same.
