[Yaesu] Quick Question

Although it usually takes between 4 and 6 weeks for
the "average" person to learn the code, I did have a
fraternity brother in college who went from not
knowing the code to over 10 words per minute in less
than a hour!  That included numerals, punctuation
marks, etc.  I sent off for his Novice exam and he
passed that without difficulty.  Don't know what
became of him!  He graduated the year before me and I
never heard from him again.

Although he was a ceramic engineering major, he was
also a musician.  I have found that those who play
some type of instrument learn the International Morse
code much faster than the "average" person.

Anyway, long time no hear!
