[Yaesu] Mark V & filter selection

I am thinking about buying a Mark V, and since I run mostly digital =
modes AFSK, I was wondering if it is possible to select the various =
filters regardless of mode?   My FT-990 would allow using the narrow 500 =
and 250hz filters while LSB or USB was selected and I would like to know =
if the Mark V is the same?   I don't use the FSK mode because I enjoy =
using the Clover mode which requires AFSK.
