Ed,

I will agree with Lee --- the FT-920 is a fine value in a transceiver.
I have an FT-1000D, as well as the FT-920, and for most of my needs the 920
is entirely satisfactory. I purchased the 920 primarily to use on 6 meters,
but I have found it to be a very capable unit for all-around use. If you
have the opportunity to try one and compare it to any of the competitors
offerings, I feel sure you will find it superior.

73,
Kent - K4MK
