[Yaesu] Problem with display on FT-301SD

The display in that radio uses a very unique type of LED. The band portion
of the read out is set strictly by the band switch selection. The frequency
is an actual frequency counter measurement of the output of the Vfo.
These LED's actually have a frequency counter built into them, and is part
of each led. So either all the LEDS individual built in to the led frequency
counters have gone bad, of the feed from the VFO line is interrupted in some
way. I suspect you have lost the feed. Maybe the VFO switch has a problem?
Does the Vfo change the receive frequency so that we know that your local
oscillators are actually running?
