[Yaesu] Question about keyer of FT990

Hi,

I  am  Andy,  EU7SA  and recently got FT990 radio. This is a very nice
transceiver  and  works very well. Just one thing that not comfortable
for  me  is  internal keyer, because it works with the "memory of last
sign"  and  I  worked for all the time without it before. So, is there
possibility  to  change  something  in  a  keyer unit to turn off this
"memory of last sign".
I could explain detailed if this necessary. Thank you in advance.
