[Yaesu] FT100 grounding mod

Well it seems like the 2 meter problems that I am
having with the FT100 might be due to the "Infamous"
grounding of the LPF board.  I have not yet opened up
the rig to see how Yaesu has grounded this, though. 
Anyway, I have been looking for a discussion of how to
add the additional grounding, and have found some
pictures and such.  I have not found a simple
explanation of how to do this mod.  

Can someone give me a very simple idiotproof
explanation of how to do this mod.  Keep in mind that
I have a Ph.D, but am downright lethal (to equipment)
with a soldering iron.  I did the 60 meter mod on the
rig, apparently ok.  I don't think that the 2 meter
issue would be related to that, but I guess you never
know.
