[Yaesu] VX150 and finals problem

All set to buy a Yaesu VX150 based on its great
reputation, and then got to reading some reviews on
eham.net. More than one reviewer indicated that the
finals had blown on their HT, usually more than once.
Some suggested not using high power on it except in an
emergency.

is this a common problem? Has anyone else blown
finals in this HT? Reading about this is now making
me lean towards an Icom V8 instead. I like the size
and features of the VX150, but wouldn't like Yaesu to
have to fix it a few times. Also, wouldn't like
having to run it at 2 watts when I am paying for 5
watts of power.

Any comments about this would be appreciated.
