[Yaesu] Comments on: HF station on a budget

My budget is 1000 bucks Can. Other than the antenna what would you recommend for a decent base station, which would include an antenna tuner [if not in the rig itself] radio power supply and something for the hash sound. Your comments or suggestions please.
