[Yaesu] Ft-100d vhf meter deflection

Howdy group new owner of the 100d ,the meter deflection when working a known 
full scale reapeter shows only appox. 7 sunits ,same antenna moved over to my 
847 shows full scale.Have i missed something in my setup menu ?  Many thanks
