Check to see if you have CTCSS or PL Decode on....with it on, you wont hear=
 noise, etc but it will
unmute when a PL tone is detected.....turn that off and then you should hea=
r NOISE, etc!
(The IDs are not sent with the PL evidently....this varies from rptr to rpt=
r)

repeaters, I can't hear the repeaters identify.=A0 I know that I should be
hearing static like crazy or at least the repeaters identify or courtesy
tones, but I don't.=A0 Any ideas why?
