Because the list is set up strange ( IMHO, ie. replies go to the originator,
not the group ) there is one group member who has SpamCop set up and that is
the issue.

It doesn't happen on a 4,000 member list I run which is set for "reply to
group"

"Reply to sender" is rather like having your HT revert to simplex after
every transmission, needing to be re-set to repater offset each time.
