Subject: [Yaesu] Info on wiring mics for the ft-847 ??
Does anyone have any info on wiring popular desk mics (i.e.; Shure,
Turner,
etc) for the ft-847 ?? I believe these mics originally came with a
booklet
describing how to wire the mic for many popular radios.
A web site with info would certainly be a welcome reference.
I do have a Shure 450 desk mic. Despite being rather old, it appears =
to
be
unused. However, it came wired to a 5 pin plug. It has a HIGH-Z / =
Low-Z
switch. I believe the LOW-Z setting is needed for new rigs like the
-847.
???
Also looking for sources for the Yaesu 8-pin mic connector plug (mic
end).
Thanks and 73
Frank
