[Yaesu] Best contesting rig

Amen on the 1000D!! Been there, done all that, and still using my 1992 model
1000D. Lots of good radios out there, but not good enough for me to give up
the absolute straightforward simplicity and speed of one button/knob per
function, and a big 'ol front panel that my fat fingers like. Plus, not a
single menu to wade through. We don't need no stinkin' menus.  :-)
