[Yaesu] FT1000D

I have an FT-101EE that I bought used about 7 years ago.
I also have IC-756PRO and Collins KWM-2A and other
transmitters/transceivers. Drake "C" series, lots of Swans.
I have lots of different receivers (including Drake 2-B).
I have always got very good reports on the 101.  As for receiving, I prefer
the 101 to every thing I have ever tried.

Now, the reason I mention all that is, I
recently I got an FT-990, I have not plugged it in yet.

What should I expect, compared to the above and compared to a 1000D or mark
V?
