I wanted to throw some credit to a nice person by the name of Bob Curry,
KC3VO.

Not only did he answer my original post but he actually stopped by on his way
back from Dayton to have a look at the patient. He drove out of his way about
an hour to help out on an already long trip back to D.C.
In a couple of hours he had the rig cooking again. Turns out there was a bad
connection in a filter that he was able to correct.

This kind of action is what makes amateur radio a nice hobby and helps to
counteract some of the garbage that we occasionally encounter on the bands.

Thanks also to Angel KP4TE for a lot of input, a gentleman from England,
and another person that I would like to give credit to but I lost my AOL
filing cabinet and the notes sent.

Have fun,

73 Bob
