[Yaesu] FT-100 to FT-100D

I HAVE to send my FT-100 in for warranty repairs.  While speaking with
a technician he suggested having the rig updated to the FT-100D version.
Has anyone on the list done this?  Other than the TCXO-8 unit, and the
case & speaker change, what else is done?  And the next question,
does anyone have an approximate fee for this upgrade?

As an FYI for the list, the tech said warranty repair turn around is
between
three and four weeks.
