[Yaesu] FT-990 and PK-232

Well I guess that I did TOO much reading and now I'm totally lost.

What is the best way to hook up a 990 and 232 for the hf digital modes?
I want to run pactor with winlink and looking at the out dated books I'm at 
a loss for the best way to do it.

Are there any good sites to go to? I went to Buck Rogers site and all I 
found was the packet hook up.
