The INRAD filters are highly recommended by me, as well.  I have the
FT-1000D, and the Narrow SSB filter (1.9 kHz) is a must for DXing as well as
contesting.  I was told by the Inrad people that if you have the Yaesu 250
Hz CW filter, then don't bother getting theirs.

BUT, if you are starting out fresh, and starting out loading your rig with
filters, then their filters are highly recommended, and usually cost less
than the Yaesu filters.  They are of superior quality.
