Hi, I recently bought a FT1000 (d type) secondhand, and I'm having an intermittent hum problem. It seems to be a problem with 30v, because the hum increases as power is increased to the point that the tcvr is almost jumping on the table at 200w. Removing top cover removes the hum.I guess this indicates that the problem is temperature sensitive. Any ideas? Your help much appreciated! 73, Hans LA9HF
